Viewing registration info

Customers who are on appgarden2 must first register to use the database. You can check to see if they are registered by opening the registration database from your Lotus Notes Client..

From lotus notes, click on File, Open, Lotus Notes Application.

Type AppGarden2/CCIAppGarden and click on the Open button.

Select app-garden Registration and click on Open

Click on the view “AllbyEmail” or “AllbyName”.

This view groups together the registration documents and the password changes by either email address or by user name (depending on view you select).  The last password change is listed first in the group and of course shows you the date/time.  You can quickly see all their information in one place now.

You also have a view called “registrations”.  This view will let you click on most of the column headers to sort by email, database or first name.

For example, click on the column header for email address. You can also do an Edit, Find/Replace and type in a name or email address that you are looking for.

Also note on the view called “Registrations by Customer”  the list is by customer, you can collapse the details in order to quickly get to the customer that you need to work with.

Click on View, Expand/Collapse and Collapse all - this will collapse to a view of just the customers and then you can click to expand the one you need.

Note – a person can only register an email address 1 time, so it is best to look by email address if possible.  The view called “Registrations by Email” is sorted by email address.  You can click on this view and start typing the email address and it will position you there.  A person MIGHT try to register more than one email address however – so if there seems to be a problem, you might look by name to see if they have registered more than one email address.  This view has sortability setup on the first, middle and las name.

Once you locate the correct registration, if you scroll to the right, you can see the password that they registered.  This will allow you to go to the customers.nsf database, click on the icon for their database and test the email and password to make sure that it works and then guide the user in signing in.

If the password that was registered doesn’t work, the user may have submitted a password change. In this case, you will need to lookup the password change database (see next section)

Please Note:  If the person’s email link opens a blank registration form then contact Barbara Sane and let her finish the registration process for that person.  The doc link may have gotten damaged during the creation process.
